The author has Bachelor of Science in Physics from Federal University of Pernambuco (2004), Master of Science in Physics from Federal University of Pernambuco (2007) and Doctor of Science in Physics from University of São Paulo. The author also did a post doctoral internship at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research - Germany, and postdoc at the National Institute for Space Research - Brazil.
