Caroline is a p.h.D student in Foreign Lettres and Translation at the University of São Paulo. She holds a Master (2019) and an Undergraduate (2016) Degree from the same university, with an exchange semester at the Sorbonne Université in 2015-2016 and another one in 2018-2019. Her undergraduate and master research were sponsored by FAPESP (processes 2014/23689-7, 2017/13677-0, and BEPE 2018/10744-0), under the supervision of Álvaro Faleiros and Bertrand Marchal. She has been a part of the Translation in Relation Group of Studies (coordinated by Faleiros) since 2015. As a translator, her work has concerned both technical and literary material, based on the pairs en-pt, fr-pt, spa-pt, pt-en, and pt-fr. Part of Non Plus Journal since 2018, she currently acts as a translator and a proofreader. She edited Cisma Journal (Literary Criticism and Translation) from 2014 to 2016 and proofread for TradTerm Journal (Translation and Terminology) from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, Caroline took part on the All Over 5 Festival of Brazilian Poetry & Cuisine in New York. For several years now, she has written prefaces, reviews, and postfaces for Brazilian contemporary poets. Her fields of expertise are Poetry and Translation - mainly Literary Translation, French Poetry (XIXth and XXth), (Re)translation, Literary Reception and Brazilian Contemporary Poetry.
