Currently, a Bioinformatics Scientist at Genesis Genomics (Joint Venture of Grupo Fleury and Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein), working in research and development of new approaches to the diagnosis of infectious diseases. Assistant Professor at Faculdade Israelita de Ciências da Saúde Albert Einstein. PhD by the Interunits in Bioinformatics Graduate Program at University of Sao Paulo (2021). The thesis involved the development of machine learning approaches to predict attributes in sequences of environmental viruses. MSc in bioinformatics by the same graduate program (2016). The dissertation involved the computational analysis of prokaryotic viruses (bacteriophages) in metagenomic and metatransciptomic samples and isolated phages from composting. Was a visiting researcher (2016) at the Viral Bioinformatics Resource Center, in Victoria Canada. BSc in Biological sciences by the Biosciences Institute of the Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil (2013).During the course, has developed a component of automatic annotation of metabolic pathways (KEGG) for the EGene platform. Has experience in computational characterization of sequences, development of tools, in vrology and metagenomics. Has a good knowledge about programming in C and Perl, Python and basic JAVA.
