Luís Eduardo Batista

Master's degree and a PhD in Sociology from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2002). Scientific Researcher, was coordinator of the health area of #8203;#8203;the black population of the State Department of Health of São Paulo for eight years. Has developed studies on the impact of racism on health, racial inequalities and health. It belongs to the group of researchers who have collaborated with the implementation of the National Policy of Integral Health of the Black Population. She has experience in Collective Health, working mainly in the following subjects: vulnerable populations, racial inequalities and health, gender and race / ethnicity. He is the leader of the Black and Indigenous Population Health research group of the Health Institute and the Research Group on Education, Black Territories and Health of UFSCar.
