Bruno Humberto Alves da Silva has a degree in Economic Sciences from the State University of Campinas and a master's degree in Economic Development from the same institution. Currently pursuing a doctorate in the postgraduate program in Economic Development at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), in Economic History subarea. He is a research student at the Post-Developmental Economics Research Center Tapuia-Neepode linked to CNPQ (http://dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/6937812131602254). His studies are currently delimited in the fields of History of Economic Thought, General Economic History, Contemporary History and Political Economy. In his doctoral work he studies the transition from the young Hilferding's research program from the work "Böhm-Bawerk Marx-Kritik" to the work "Finanzkapital" in the German-speaking context of the Age of Empires. His master's thesis dealt with the reception of Das Kapital's book III in the German economic debate, especially the question of labor value theory in the contributions of Werner Sombart, Ëugen Böhm-Bawerk and Friederich Engels. In graduation. He studied the formulation of the concept of Financial Capital in the last author in comparison with the formulation of other authors of Political Economy of the 20th century in his underdegree research. His thematic interests concern the history of German-speaking economic thought, contemporary history of German-speaking countries, the history of capitalism, theories of imperialism, theories of capitalist competition, value, the history of concepts, theories of financial and monopoly capital.
