I have a degree in Pharmacy and hold a MSc degree in Science and Technology. I am currently enrolled on the 2nd of year of my PhD in Biosciences and Technology at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology (BBSRC - MIB - MU) and the Brazilian Bioethanol Science and Technology Laboratory (CTBE ? UNICAMP ? FAPESP). Founder of the ECRA Biotech, a startup company focused on molecular diagnosis applied to health. I have deep experience in lab workbench and research projects for White biotechnology (industrial) and Red biotechnology (health) management. With focus on the improvement of enzymatic performance and new applications I have worked in several areas of research such as: synthetic biology; human molecular diagnosis; omics; microbiology (fungi, bacteria and yeast); carbohydrate and proteins biochemistry; fermentation; upstream and downstream processing; termite biology; detoxification; phytochemistry; green chemistry, biomass valorization and knowledge in Intellectual Property. I believe I am a proactive professional with an innovative mindset as a result of my international work experience in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Brazil and Argentina as well as many extracurricular activities I have been engaged throughout my professional career. Team-player leadership, I have worked with multidisciplinary teams and in a results-oriented manner. I seek to associate new trends to other already established in market in order to develop new products or new research strategies.
