Since 2007 I have been teaching Humanities in High Schools and Ancient Numismatics in undergraduate courses in both Italian and Brazilian Universities.I have experience in first restoration, research and cataloguing of ancient coins as collaborator in the museums of Syracuse (Paolo Orsi), Ragusa (Museo Archeologico), Camarina (Museo Archeologico Regionale) and São Paulo (Museu Paulista and Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia of the University of São Paulo-USP).I participated in archaeological excavations in Italy (Greek, Roman and Medieval sites) and in Amazonia, Brazil (Guaraní site). From 2015 to today I have conducted landscape researchs and topographic surveys with the collaboration of Italian and foreign colleagues and did two internships abroad with Professor Aurelio Burgio (University of Palermo).My research interests focus on Sicilian Archaeology in the following areas: Greek and Roman Numismatics, relationship between Greeks and non-Greeks in Archaic and Classical Periods, Topography and Landscape Archaeology. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Faculdade de Ciências Humanas e Sociais Unesp Campus de Franca, where I am the head of the Laboratory of Archaeology, Lab.Arque. Furthermore, I am a member of: LABECA (MAE/USP); G.LEIR (UNESP Franca); the Ancient Numismatics Study Group (Capes); the Archaeology nucleus of the Areté Association (São Paulo); the European Associationof Archaeologists (EAA); the World Archaeology Congress (WAC); SiciliAntica-sede di Caltanissetta (SA).
