Associate Professor, Department of Maternal-Child and Psychiatric Nursing (ENP), School of Nursing, University of São Paulo (EEUSP), since 1994. Graduated in Nursing from the Federal University of Paraíba (1992), Specialization in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing (1995); Master's degree (2001) and PhD (2007) from the Federal University of São Paulo/UNIFESP; Full Professorship from EEUSP (2023); Post-doctorate from the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health-CAMH/Toronto, Canada (2010) and Post-doctorate from the Centre for Research in Health Technologies and Services (CINTESIS)/Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto (2024). Currently, she is the Head of the Department of Maternal-Child and Psychiatric Nursing. Accredited in the Postgraduate Program in Nursing of the University of São Paulo (PPGE) of EEUSP and in the Interunit Professional Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Training in Health. Former leader and current member of the Center for Studies and Research in Nursing in Addictions and Mental Health (NEPEASM) linked to EEUSP; member of the Study and Research Group on Health, Intersectionality and Social Markers of Difference, linked to the Department of Preventive Medicine of the USP School of Medicine. She works with international researchers (Catholic University, University of Minho and School of Nursing, Portugal; National University of Tres de Febrero, Argentina; Faculty of Nursing Campus Minatitlán University of Veracruzana and Faculty of Nursing, Autonomous University of Nuevo León, Mexico; Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia, Peru; Faculty of Nursing of the University of Cartagena, Colombia). At the national level, she has partnerships with researchers from public universities. Since 2025, she has actively participated in the Brazilian Nursing Association, São Paulo section (Director of the Teaching and Research Center; Director of the Center for Publications and Social Communication; Vice-presidency). Currently president of ABEnSP (Management 202-2-25). She founded the Scientific Department of Psychiatric Nursing and Mental Health (2017). Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Coordinator of the Revista Paulista de Enfermagem-REPEn/ABEnSP. Coordinated the CORENSP Mental Health WG (2021-2022). Academic Director of the Mental Health Nursing League of EEUSP (2017). Visiting Professor at Univ. Fernando Pessoa, Portugal (2019-2020). Member of the Association for the Development of Technological Innovation and Games in Health (ADITGames-2022); Educational Technology Study Network (RETE-2020); Brazil-Portugal Technology Research Group (founder - since 2020). Associated with the Brazilian Health Literacy Network (REBRALS); Brazilian Association for the Study of Alcohol and Other Drugs (ABEAD); Member of the International Nurses Society on Addictions (IntNSA-2024). Member of the research team of the NursingGames project and iGestSaúde: Mental illness, ESEP/Portugal. Member of the State Council on Drugs/SP representing COREn/SP (2023). Teaches at undergraduate/postgraduate levels. Research interests: Nursing in Mental Health/Psychiatric/Addictions; Digital technologies; Mental health in Primary Care; Policies and Practices in mental health; Care technologies, Intersectionality and Social Markers of Difference in the context of addictions/mental health/women and gender.
