Birthplace: Brazil

I have a Bachelor's degree (2015) and a Master's degree (2017) in Biological Sciences from São Paulo State University - Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) at the Institute of Biosciences in Botucatu (IBB). I hold a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Biotechnology Graduate Program, IBB/UNESP. During the period from 2012 to 2014, I conducted an internship at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, IBB/UNESP, where I conducted research in the field of Immunology, focusing on morphological alterations (Skeletal and Visceral) in rat fetuses treated with Silibinin. At the Department of Chemical and Biological Sciences, IBB - UNESP, I conducted research focusing on evaluating cellular signaling in response to Biomaterials, cellular Cross-Talk mediated by paracrine factors, or Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) produced by endothelial cells in Osteoblasts. I am currently a research collaborator at Erasmus Medical Center - Rotterdam, focusing on evaluating the profile of Kinases in Exosomes in the context of cellular signaling and investigating crosstalk between tumor and non-tumor cells. I was a finalist for the 24th Young Talent Award in Life Sciences - SBBq 2021. I conducted Postdoctoral research at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Faculty of Applied Sciences (FCA), investigating the role of physical exercise in improving obesity and the inflammatory, lipogenic, and energetic profile mediated by modulation of the mitochondrial protein MTCH2. I am currently conducting a Postdoctoral study at the Department of Biophysics and Pharmacology, Institute of Biosciences in Botucatu/IBB/UNESP, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Erick José Ramo Da Silva. The project aims to develop a new transgenic CRISPR/Cas9 mouse model for in vivo studies on the sperm protein EPPIN, a target for male contraception. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
