Dr Kelly performed the doctorate with a period abroad by the PDSE/Capes program at the University of Aberdeen, King's College (Scotland). She is part of the research groups of complex systems at State University of Ponta Grossa, control of oscillations of the Institute of Physics at the University of São Paulo and ICSMB Group at the Institute for Complex Systems and mathematical biology (honorary researcher).
