Bachelor degree in Biology at State University of Campinas (2007). Master (2009) and Doctoral degrees at State University of Campinas, with a period as an exchange student at the Department of Plant Systems Biology - VIB/Universiteit Gent (2012). From 2012 to 2014, I was a postdoctoral scientist at the Department of Plant Systems Biology - VIB/Universiteit Gent, working on lignin metabolism in Arabidopsis thaliana and poplar. Currently, I'm Professor at the Department of Botany, University of São Paulo, with research topics focused on Plant Molecular Biology and Plant Biotechnology applied for Bioenergy and Plant Biomass Recalcitrance.
