Vanessa Regina de Oliveira Martins holds a PhD (2013) and a Master (2008) in Education from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Graduated in Pedagogy with special education qualification from PUCCAMP (2004). Specialist in institutional and clinical psychopedagogy - Atualize / Unibem (2007). Adjunct Professor II at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), working on the Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpretation in Libras and Portuguese Language (TILSP). Professor of the Department of Psychology (Dpsi / UFSCar). Professor linked to the Postgraduate Program in Special Education (PPGEEs / UFSCar) coordinates the Research Group on Education for the Deaf, Subjectivities and Differences (GPESDi / UFSCar / CNPq). Collaborating researcher in the research group Deafness and Bilingual Approach (UFSCar). Coordinates a Study Group on Education and Philosophies of Difference (GEEFiDi / UFSCar). Has teaching experience in the field of bilingual education for the deaf (early childhood education and elementary school I); training in the social area of #8203;#8203;deafness, at the undergraduate and graduate levels; in the training of sign language translators; in training for bilingual deaf educators and Libras teachers in undergraduate, post-graduate lato sensu and university extension courses. She has experience as a sign language translator and interpreter in different discursive spheres (generalist and educational interpreter), however, with a greater emphasis on interpretation in the context of higher education.
