Senior Professor at Psychology department of Faculty of Philosophy Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto (FFCLRP) and of Graduation Program in Neurology and Neuroscience in the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (FMRP), University of São Paulo (USP). Graduated in Biological Sciences from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Master at Pharmacology from Universidade de São Paulo and PhD at Physiology from Universidade de São Paulo. Post Graduation in Wake Forest University, USA (1990-1991) and Universitaet Tuebingen, Alemanha (1992-1995). She was Professor (1985-1990) in the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and in the Faculdade de Odontologia de Ribeirão Preto da USP (1999-2020). She was member of undergraduation SBFIS commission (2010-2019) and of Teaching Comission of APS (2015-2018) and recently was nominated (2018) member of the Board General Assembly of International Union of Physiological Sciences (IUPS) where is co-chair of the Education Commitee since 2015. She is also Secretary of Neuroscience Institute in Ribeirão Preto since 2016 when started to work with . scientific dissemination As a scientific researcher got several CNPq and FAPESP grants and gave several national and international lectures in Germany, France, Chile, USA, Germany, Japan, China and New Zealand.Has organized national and international events in physiology teaching and neuroscience and published text and articles in education. As researcher has experience in Neurosciences in the Pharmacology, Physiology and Experimental Odontology working more recently with neuroimmunoendocrine and behaviour alterations during inflammatory process and neurodegenerative.
