Has a MSc degree in genetics and molecular biology from Unicamp, which was awarded by develoment of the research: Prospection of 2G ethanol production associated genes using comparative genomics approach. Has a bachelor degree in biology from Unicamp. The concentration areas of his researches are biotechnology, molecular biology and microorganisms' genetics. Also has experience in isolation, identification, genome assembly, and comparative genomics of yeasts.
