He has a degree in Biomedicine from the State University of Londrina (2003) and a master's degree in infectious diseases from the Federal University of São Paulo (2007). He was a PhD student in the Postgraduate Program in Genetics and Molecular Biology at UNICAMP. He participated in the Science without Borders program in the Post Doctorate Abroad modality working in the field of prion proteins at the Deutsch Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen, linked to the Clinical University of Bonn, Germany. He worked as a collaborating researcher at the Animal Virology Laboratory at UNICAMP, supervising research projects in the area of #8203;#8203;animal and human virology in the fields of virology and bioinformatics, in addition to supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students. He completed a post-doctorate at the National Biosciences Laboratory in the RENAMA project (National Network of Alternative Methods in Bioinformatics for predicting ADME/Tox properties of compounds) in the field of predicting pharmacological and pharmacodynamic properties of chemical compounds for pharmaceutical industries using SAR and QSAR methods. He completed his post-doctorate at the Laboratory of Molecular Evolution and Bioinformatics at the University of São Paulo working on the Zika virus epidemic. He was a consultant at the Pan American Health Organization between 2016-17 in the area of #8203;#8203;Virology. He completed a postdoctoral degree at USP-FMRP in the area of #8203;#8203;methylomics of pediatric adrenocortical tumors. He worked as a technical consultant for the Ministry of Health in the area of #8203;#8203;virology during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. He is currently a technical consultant at PAHO in the area of #8203;#8203;quality control in central laboratories in Brazil, and is undertaking a post-doctorate at the Federal University of Santa Catarina in the area of #8203;#8203;in silico epitope prediction, protein-protein dockings and molecular dynamics of viral targets. He also has experience in higher education having worked as a professor at Anhanguera and SENAC universities, as a collaborating researcher at UNICAMP and USP, teaching subjects in Genetics of Microorganisms, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Microbiology and Virology.
