Assistant Professor of Immunology at the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology from Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). Won the prize: John N. Whitaker Award the Best Paper in Clinincal Neuroimmunology of International Society of Neuroimmunology. Awarded by the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC), ISAC Marylou Ingram Scholarship (2021-2025). She has experience in Immunology and Pharmacology field, acting mainly in the following subjects: neuroinflammation, neurogenesis, kinin system, Alzheimer's disease, COVID-19, cellular immune response and glioblastoma. She is reviewer of the Journal of Immunology Research, Cytometry Part A, Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience, PlosOne, Parasitology Research, Stem Cell Reviews and Reports, Medicine, Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity, Theranostics, Scientific Reports and Cell Death Discovery and Editorial Board Member of Cytometry A.
