Dr. Diego Martinez is Researcher at the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials - CNPEM/Brazilian Nanotechnology National Laboratory - LNNano. Licenciate in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul - UFMS (2000-2003); Master in Biochemistry from the University of Campinas - UNICAMP (2004-2006); PhD in Chemistry from the UNICAMP with a collaborative period at University College Dublin/Centre for BioNano Interactions (2006-2011); Post-doctoral experience at the National Institute for Complex Functional Materials - INCT-Inomat/Brazilian Nanotoxicology Network - Cigenanotox (2011-2013) and University of Birmingham (2020). Currently, Dr. Martinez is the Principal Investigator for the Nanotoxicology & Nanobiotechnology and Manager for laboratory quality system implementation (ISO/IEC 17025) at LNNano/CNPEM. Visiting professor in the School of Technology (Graduate Program - Materials Science/Environment) at UNICAMP and Center of Nuclear Energy in Agriculture - CENA at the University of São Paulo - USP.
