Dr. Marcos Hashimoto is a seasoned scholar and practitioner in entrepreneurship education, corporate entrepreneurship, and innovation. He holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Business Administration from EAESP/FGV (AACSB-accredited), with a research focus on corporate entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial education. Additionally, he earned a degree in Data Processing Technology, a postgraduate degree in Systems Analysis, and a full teaching certification from Instituto Presbiteriano Mackenzie.Currently, Dr. Hashimoto serves as the Managing Director of the Turner School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Bradley University in Illinois, USA. In this role, he coordinates various programs, including competitions, mentorship initiatives, and the "Innovation for All" Living Learning Community. He teaches courses such as Entrepreneurial Mindset, Entrepreneurial Startup, and Entrepreneurial Growth. Dr. Hashimoto also mentors participants in the Smart Start program of the Greater Peoria Economic Development Center and the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization. He is certified in the Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile by the Leadership Development Institute at Eckerd College.([Bradley University][1])Previously, Dr. Hashimoto was a researcher in the entrepreneurship track of the Professional Master's in Business Administration at Faculdade Campo Limpo Paulista. He served as Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Millikin University and as an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Indianapolis, both in Indiana, USA. He held the position of Treasurer for the Entrepreneurship Division of the Academy of Management and was an Associate Editor for the Iberoamerican Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business (REGEPE).In Brazil, Dr. Hashimoto taught executive, MBA, and undergraduate programs at Insper (AACSB-accredited), where he also established and coordinated the Center for Entrepreneurship. He conceived and implemented the Center for Creativity and Entrepreneurship at FAAP and was part of the team that developed and launched the Center for Entrepreneurship at FGV (GV-CENN). Additionally, he taught at Business School São Paulo and contributed to institutions such as ESPM, FIA, Vanzolini, and Anhanguera in executive education, distance learning, and MBA programs. He also facilitated educational programs for Anjos do Brasil.Dr. Hashimoto has 20 years of corporate experience, including roles at Cargill Agrícola and Citibank. He is the author of several books on entrepreneurship, including "Espírito Empreendedor nas Organizações" (Saraiva, 2005), "Lições de Empreendedorismo" (Manole, 2008), "Práticas de Empreendedorismo: Casos e Planos de Negócios" (Elsevier, 2012), and "Empreendedorismo: Plano de Negócio em 40 Lições" (Saraiva, 2014). He has served as a mentor in Stanford University's Roundtable on Entrepreneurship Education and as a visiting professor at the University of Texas at Austin and Uniandes in Colombia.Dr. Hashimoto co-founded the National Association for Studies in Entrepreneurship and Small Businesses (Anegepe), which organizes the leading scientific meeting on Entrepreneurship and Small Businesses (Egepe) and publishes the REGEPE journal (Qualis B1). He also developed the SP Plan business plan software for Sebrae-SP/Fiesp.His contributions have been recognized with the Excellence in Entrepreneurship Education and Pedagogy Innovation Award from the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers and the Endeavor Entrepreneurial Education Award, both in 2011. He established the MBA in Entrepreneurship at Uirapuru Superior in Sorocaba and the Executive MBA at Faculdade Prudente de Moraes in Itu, which was named one of Brazil's top MBAs by Você S/A.Dr. Hashimoto actively participated in the Global Moot Corp at the University of Texas at Austin, as a finalist representing FGV in 2000, as coordinator of the Latin America version in 2003/4, and as a faculty mentor for a finalist (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
