I am professor at the Centro Univeristário Padre Anchieta and I hold my PhD from the Department of Preventive Veterinary Medicine and Animal Health (VPS) of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science (FMVZ) of the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, the same institution that I completed my masters dissertation. I completed my undergraduation in Veterinary Medicine at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). I completed my Agricultural Technician Course at the Canuanã School, Bradesco Foundation, Tocantins. Also during under graduation, I participated in the Tutorial Education Program (PET) of Veterinary Medicine. I have experience on animal welfare, epigenetics and pigs, working on the following topics: epigenetics and welfare; prenatal stress; nutrition and welfare; technologies to improve welfare; humane slaughter.
