Bachelor in Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1998), with an exchange program at the University of Arizona, USA (1996); master's degree in Remote Sensing from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE - 2001) and PhD in Spatial Information from the Polytechnic School (2010) with an exchange period at the Laboratoire d'InfoRmatique en Image et Systèmes d'Information (INSA - Lyon), France (2008 to 2009, CNPq scholarship). Coordinates the Technology Transfer area of the Center for Metropolitan Studies (CEM - Cepid/FAPESP).
