Assistant Professor at UNESP - Universidade Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho and Vice-coordinator of the Industrial Engineering Campus Itapeva. Has experience in Computer Science, and engineering applications acting on the following subjects: machine learning, image processing and system control. In this work was used Machine Learning techniques like, Deep neural network, Kohonen Self Organization Maps, Support Vector machine, decision trees, in order to classify texture descriptors extract from timber images.
