Graduated in Dentistry at Piracicaba Dental School/University of Campinas (FOP/UNICAMP) (2003); MSc (2006) and PhD (2009) in Pharmacology, Anesthesiology and Therapeutics at the same institution. Performed postdoctoral in Biology Institute/University of Campinas (2011) and in Piracicaba Dental School (2012-2014). Was Assistant Professor at the Department of Biosciences at FOP/UNICAMP from 2014-2023 and became Associate Professor in 2023. Has research interest in the development of formulations and drug delivery systems, including liposomes and nanocapsules for local anesthetics, aiming to improve the quality of local and topical anesthesia in dentistry.
