She is a Professor in the School of Dental Medicine and Graduate courses at the Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital. She is a Member of the Research Staff at Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital. She is the Coordinator of Post-graduation in Periodontics at Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital. She serves as an Adjunct Professor at the ADA Forsyth Institute in Boston, USA. She graduated in Dentistry from UNESP in 2010, specialized in Periodontics at APCD in 2014, and earned a master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology in 2016 and a PhD in Periodontics in 2019, both from UNESP. She conducted her PhD research internship at the ADA Forsyth Institute with a BEPE research internship grant from FAPESP. She received the IADR/IAP Ricardo Teles Clinical Research Award in Periodontology in 2021 for the published article from her doctoral thesis. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Guarulhos with FAPESP and CAPES grants. She serves as an ad hoc advisor for FAPESP and as a reviewer for several journals, including the Periodontology 2000, Journal of Dental Research, Journal of Clinical Periodontology, Journal of Periodontology and Journal of Periodontal Research.
