Hebel Urquia-Osorio is a PhD student at the program of Medical Pathophysiology/Neuroscience, Campinas University (UNICAMP), Brazil. Dr. Urquia has undergraduate in Medicine (2014) and received training in neuroscience research (2015) at the Faculty of Medical Science, National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH), Honduras. He is also former president (2011-2012) of the Latin American Federation of Medical Students Scientific Societies (FELSOCEM). He has been publishing on scientific topics in general medicine and importance of student publication. Currently his research areas of interest are neuroscience, epilepsy, stroke and neuroimaging.
