Marina Waiteman holds a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from São Paulo State University (Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho UNESP), Faculty of Science and Technology, Presidente Prudente campus (FCT/UNESP). Earned a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from UNESP (FCT/UNESP), including a sandwich period at The University of Toledo, College of Health and Human Services, Toledo, Ohio, USA.Obtained a PhD in Movement Sciences from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Presidente Prudente campus (interunit graduate program), including a sandwich period at The University of Toledo, College of Health and Human Services, Toledo, Ohio, USA, and technical research training at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Health Sciences, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.Marina is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the Faculty of Science and Technology, São Paulo State University (FCT/UNESP). She is a member of the International Patellofemoral Research Network and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Sport Rehabilitation (JCR 1.50). Her research interests include musculoskeletal pain, patellofemoral pain, physical rehabilitation, clinical measures of physical performance and muscle capacity, biomechanics, and motor control.
