She has lines of research involving genomics of food pathogens, antimicrobial resistance and antimicrobial action of natural products. Post doctorate in the dairy laboratory at ESALQ/USP and Cornell University. PhD in General and Applied Biology, Unesp de Botucatu, with a sandwich doctorate at the Universidad de La Rioja, Spain. PhD project related to spatyping, MLST and SCCmec techniques in Staphylococcus sp. Master in General and Applied Biology with a project related to medicinal plants and their antimicrobial action.
