PhD in Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar (2019) in the field of electrochemistry and separation. In 2015, it was awarded with a Carolina Foundation grant to carry out a 3 months project in partnership with the TERMA group from the Malaga University (Spain) for the preparation of activated carbon applied for water desalination in capacitive deionization (CDI). In 2017, it was awarded with the prestigious Research Internship Abroad grant (FAPESP, Brazil) to carry out one year project in the Energy Materials Group (INM - Leibniz Institute for New Materials, Saarbrücken, Germany) for the preparation of low-cost activated carbons applied as electrodes for water desalination in CDI for long-term experiments. From 2019 to 2021, worked as postdoctoral researcher in the Wageningen University & Research (Netherlands) in the subject of ion-selective removal using CDI. During the PhD and masters, had patent deposited, and several papers published in international indexed journals and conferences. Currently, works as a researcher in Tecnalia Research & Innovation in Bilbao, Spain. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
