Brazilian researcher and playwright working at the intersection of theatre and film, with research interests that include theatrical dramaturgy, Black theatre, screenwriting, adaptation, intermediality, and melodrama. My work integrates critical analysis, archival research, and dramaturgical practice. I hold a PhD in Film and Audiovisual Studies from the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo (ECA/USP), within the research area History, Theory, and Criticism of Cinema, including a visiting period at Columbia Universitys School of the Arts (NY). I also hold a Masters degree from the same program and a Bachelors degree in Image and Sound, with a focus on Screenwriting, from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in Theatre Arts at the Institute of the Arts at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). I am a member of the research group Peripécias: Dramaturgy Studies Group (CNPq) and the LAICA Laboratory for Audiovisual Investigation and Criticism (CNPq). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
