He graduated in Bachelor of Chemistry in 2018 at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), with a sandwich period of 3 months at the "Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale - Amedeo Avogadro" in Alessandria-ITA. He is currently doing a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry at the same university, being financed by São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). His research group is the Group of Renewable Energy, Nanotechnology and Catalysis (GreenCat) of Dr. Prof. Jean Marcel Ribeiro Gallo, and his academic experience is in the production of bifunctional catalysts for the conversion of biomass derivatives, such as ethanol and monosaccharides, into molecules useful in the chemical industry, such as 1,3-butadiene and platform molecules, respectively.
