Dr. Felippe J Pavinatto received his PhD in Materials Science from the University of Sao Paulo (2010) and spent 2 years as a post-doc at the Electrical Engineering department of the University of California, Berkeley (2011-2013). Currently, works as a Senior Staff Scientist at the Clean Energy Institute of the University of Washington, Seattle - USA, where he conducts research and manages the Advanced Manufacturing Lab of the Washington Clean Energy Testbeds (WCET). Over the last few years, Dr. Felippe has been developing new technologies in the printed electronics field; more specifically, bioinks, biofilms, printed biomedical devices and printed biosensors. Currently, also focus on the use of advanced manufacturing techniques to fabricate solar cells and batteries using scalable, high throughput processes, in applied projects (mostly with companies) looking to meet industrial demands.
