Graduated in Biology from the Institute of Biosciences of University of Sao Paulo (1993), with a master's and doctorate in Biological Oceanography from the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo - IOUSP (1999 and 2004). Biologist at the Benthic Ecology Laboratory of the Department of Biological Oceanography at IO-USP, between 2002 and 2018, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ana Maria Setubal Pires Vanin. Currently, she works at the Laboratory of Reef Ecology (BIOREC) in the same department and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tito Lotufo. She has experience in oceanography, with emphasis on the interaction between marine invertebrates and environmental parameters, acting mainly on ecology of macrobenthic communities and Polychaeta taxonomy, both from the southeastern Brazilian coast and from Antarctica. She participated in many oceanographic cruises on the Brazilian coast and in nine Antarctic expeditions. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
