Sergio A. David is a professor of applied mathematics, and a researcher at the University of São Paulo (USP) - Brazil. He concluded his post-doctoral in Appl Math at the State University of São Paulo (UNESP) - Brazil (2012). Ph.D in Mech. Eng. at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) - Brazil (2003). MBA in Finance at FGV-RJ - Brazil/Ohio University-USA (2002). MSc in Mech. Eng. at the UNICAMP - Brazil (1996). BSc in Physics at the UNESP - Brazil (1993). Prof. Sergio David has been acting as an editor, guest editor and associate editor in different issues in SCI indexed journals. He has also been reviewer for more than 70 important and different indexed journals having reviewed over 300 papers verified and registered by the Web of Science. Currently working on the following topics: mathematical modeling applied to science and engineering, fractional order systems/ fractional calculus, modeling simulation in biomedical sciences, mechanical sciences, energy economics, financial math. and nonlinear phenomena.
