Professor and researcher (MS3-2) at University of São Paulo (USP-Brazil) since 2009. Post-doctoral concluded in Applied Mathematics at São Paulo State University (UNESP-Brazil) in 2012. Ph.D and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at University of Campinas (UNICAMP -Brazil) in 2003 and 1996, respectively. Executive MBA in Finance at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-RJ-Brazil)/Ohio University (OHIO-USA) in 2002. Bachelor degreee in Physics from the São Paulo State University (UNESP-Brazil) in 1993. Currently he mainly works on the following topics: mathematical modeling, fractional calculus, system dynamics, nonlinear phenomena and energy economics. He has knowledge in robotics and control systems as well as in financial mathematics, and economic engineering.
