Works mainly on the following topic: use and development of bioinformatics tools (Shell script, Python and R) for the study of genetic data. Emphasis on: genomics, RNA-Seq, analysis of repetitive sequences, prediction of ncRNAs, search and characterization of genes of biotechnological interest, pattern recognition through machine learning.
