She holds a Bachelor degree in Meteorology from the Higher Institute of Technologies y Applied Sciences, Cuba (2013), and a Master's degree from the National Institute for Space Research, Brazil (2016). She has experience in remote sensing of the atmosphere, mainly in digital image processing and automatic classification of clouds, and in numeric weather prediction, focusing on cloud microphysics parameterizations.
