Full professor at the São Paulo State University and former coordinator of Civil and Environmental Engineering Graduate Program. The major research area is Geotechnical Engineering working on the following subjects: tropical soils, in situ testing, piezocone, site investigation, foundation engineering and geo-environmental geotechnics.
