Teacher in the field of Philosophy since 1989, he is currently a Full Professor in Theory and Philosophy of History at UNESP (São Paulo State University, Brazil). He has obtained three visiting scholar granted positions: 2008-2009 Fulbright Scholar Program Advanced Research and University Lecturing Awards with the Peirce Edition Project, IUPUI/USA; University of Paris, CreartPhi Group (2011-2012) and in 2019-2020, and with the Research Group "Homo Mimeticus: Theory and Criticism" (HOM) at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium, through the project "Two Paths on Representational and Non-Representational Mimesis", funded by ERC/CNPQ/FAPESP. He has experience in the field of Philosophy, with emphasis on Ontology, working on the following topics: continuity and temporalities. He is the coordinator of two research groups at DGP/CNPQ. written production: 70 articles; 33 chapters; 5 books (author or editor)direction of academic research: high school and undergraduate initiation to research): 169; 22 master degrees; 21 doctor degrees; 10 post-doc supervisions.
