Earned his BS in Biology from the Institute of Biosciences at the University of Sao Paulo (2006) and MSc (2009) and PhD (2015) in Cell and Tissue Biology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Sao Paulo. Worked as a post-doctoral researcher for 3 years at the Division of Biology and Biological Engineering of the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), and is currently a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Biochemistry of the Institute of Chemistry at the Universidade de Sao Paulo. Our laboratory aims to dissect the molecular role of chicken Scratch2 (cScrt2) in neural development.
