Gabriela Mól Avelar

I graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2008) and got my PhD in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry) from the University of São Paulo (2014). I'm currently a postdoctoral research assistant at the University of Dundee, searching new antifungal toxins secreted by the bacterial type VI secretion system. Experience in the area of Microbiology, with an emphasis on Microbiology, working mainly on the following topics: cell signalling, molecular biology, protein expression, fungal characterisation, (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
