Held Postdoc at Curtin University, Australia (2019), split-site PhD at the University of Florida, Gainesville, USA (2015). Master in Soil Science (2012) and bachelor degree in Agronomy (2010). Collaborator of Soil Spectral Library of Brazil (Esalq-USP). Works in Pedometrics area applied to prediction of soil properties by spectral data and digital soil mapping. In Pedology, has knowledge in morphology, genesis and classification of soils, soil-landscape relationship and soil survey. Has skill in R programming language, GIS software processing, and manipulation of soil spectral data. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
The current project aims to act in many soil knowledge fields through geotechnologies using laboratorial, terrestrial punctual and continuous platforms, aerial and orbital levels. This will be organized into 6 projects as follows: 1. Brazilian Spectral library; 2. Satellite images on soil mapping; 3. Geotechnologies for in-situ soil mapping; 4. Stratigraphy on soil mapping; 5. Geotechno...
The reflectance spectroscopy technique can be an effective method to measure and monitor the soil. The interest in the use of spectroscopy applied to soil is growing continually. To make this spectral information functional, it is necessary to group soils with similar spectral behavior. The aim of the project is to develop a pioneer soil spectral classification system using only the spe...
