Beatriz Brugnaro is a CAPES scholarship student in Physiotherapy at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) at LADI (Laboratory of Analysis of Child Development - Department of Physiotherapy), where she is part of the research group "Study of Child Development" being the research line: "Study of perceptual behavior and infantile motor 'and orientation of Prof. Dr. Nelci Adriana Cicuto Ferreira Rocha. She graduated in Physiotherapy in 2018 at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). She was a student of undergraduate research at LADI (Laboratory of Analysis of Child Development) in the same research group during the years 2016 to 2018. She was a student of FAPESP Scientific Initiation, from the project entitled ?SENSORY PROFILE OF CHILDREN WITH DOWN SYNDROME AND RELATIONSHIP TO MOTOR PERFORMANCE AND PARTICIPATION IN THE HOME CONTEXT ?, directed by Profa. Dr. Nelci Adriana Cicuto Ferreira Rocha. Conducted research abroad at CanChild (School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Peter Rosenbaum, with financial support from FAPESP (BEPE) between September and October 2018. She is currently working as an international research associate with CanChild, translating and adapting the "About My Child-19" Questionnaire (AMC-19) and F-Words Tools for School to Brazilian Portuguese. She was a scholarship student of the extension project "Transition of health care for individuals with special needs: from childhood to adolescence and adulthood", by the Physiotherapy department of UFSCar in 2016 and 2017, under the coordination of Prof. Ana Carolina de Campos. She was a student of the Aciepe extension project 'Down Syndrome Studies: Clinical, Behavioral, Educational and Social Characteristics', offered by the UFSCar Special Education Department.
