Associate Professor MS-5.3 at UNESP. His academic background includes: Habilitation in Engineering and Product Life Cycle Management (EGCV) from UNESP, PhD in Production Engineering (USP), Master's degree in Production Engineering (UNESP), Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering (UFSCar), Bachelor's degree in Administration and Specialization in Environmental Management (Ceuclar). He leads the research group Center for Advanced and Sustainable Technologies (CAST) and the university extension group Retec Unesp Reciclando Tecnologia. He is accredited in the Postgraduate Program in Engineering (PPGE), Faculty of Engineering and Sciences, Guaratinguetá Campus) and in the Postgraduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PGEE) Inter-units Sorocaba and São João da Boa Vista). In both programs, he works in the EGCV research lines, which integrates Environmental Sciences and engineering in an interdisciplinary way. He maintains international collaborations with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), and the University of Coimbra (UC). He is a member of the Life Cycle Initiative (LCI/UNEP), the Cleaner Production Advancement Network, and the Photonics International Network (PIN), within the framework of the CAPES PRINT UNESP International Research Networks Agreement (UNESP, University of Bordeaux, University of Aveiro, and Laval University). His main research interests include Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Ecodesign, and End-of-Life (EoL) product strategies, especially Recycling, applied to electronic products.
