He is a professor at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering at the São Paulo State University (Unesp), São João da Boa Vista Campus. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering, in the area of Applied Electromagnetics and Antennas, from PUC-Rio. He holds a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, also in the area of Applied Electromagnetics and Antennas, from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Fumec University. Has experience in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on Electromagnetic Theory, Wave Propagation, and Antennas. His research interests include synthesis and analysis of reflector antennas, design and fabrication of passive devices and antennas for the millimeter wave band (30 to 300 GHz), design and fabrication of antennas with complex geometries using the metal additive manufacturing process, antennas and photonic devices and artificial intelligence applied to optical communications. He was a professor at the electrical engineering department at the Federal Technological University of Paraná. He was a CAPES postdoctoral fellow at Inatel. He worked as a Project Engineer at TV Globo in projects and implementation of single frequency networks for broadcasting Digital TV in HD, microwave radio link systems and RF measurements. He was a CNPq postgraduate scholarship holder in the doctoral modality and a CAPES scholarship in the master modality. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
