Mateus is graduated in Mechatronics Engineering by the University of São Paulo in 2016. He studied in 2014 for a year through the Brazil Scientific Mobility Program (BSMP) at the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA. He performed an internship in 2014 at Near Earth Autonomy, spin-off company of Carnegie Mellon University, and in 2016 for a year at Eaton in Mogi Mirim - SP in the area of Quality Engineering. He is currently a Master student at the University of São Paulo in Mechanical Engineering, in the area of Machine and System Dynamics with a FAPESP scholarship. Through a FAPESP BEPE scholarship, he performed a internship for half a year at the FRESH laboratory, in the area of robotics applied to agriculture, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA.
