The researcher, who is a scholar linked to the São Paulo State Research Support Foundation - FAPESP -, is a doctoral student in the Postgraduate Program in History and Social Culture at Paulista State University, UNESP, campus of Franca / SP - Brazil, where he also completed his master's degree (2016). In addition, it also researches the following subjects: history of norms and transgressions; modern slavery; Portuguese Inquisition.
