I am currently PhD student at São Paulo State University - UNESP, Brazil, supervised by collaborated Professor Ercy Ramos (São Paulo State University - UNESP, Brazil) and Associate Professor Vinicius Cavalheri (Curtin University of Technology, Australia). I am involved in projects that aims to analyses the effects of a home-based exercise training in physical performance, biological and mental characteristics of patients with primary lung or head and neck cancer. During the year of 2023 I worked as a visiting research associate at Curtin University, Australia, under the supervision of Associate Professor Vinicius Cavalheri and Professor Kylie Hill. My academic training both at undergraduate and graduate levels is in Physiotherapy. More specifically, my area of expertise is physical training for chronic respiratory diseases and lung cancer. After completing my BSc in Physiotherapy at UNESP - Brazil, I undertook a 1-year, full-time specialization in Respiratory Physiotherapy in the same institution. Following my specialization, I completed an MSc in Physiotherapy at UNESP - Brazil (2019). In 2019, I initiated my PhD and worked teaching to the bachelors course also at UNESP - Brazil.
