Pharmacist graduated from the Federal University of Ceará - UFC (2016). Sandwich graduation from the University of Pennsylvania - UPenn (2014-2015). Master and PhD from the Basic and Applied Immunology program at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto - USP (2017 - 2022).During her master's degree, she investigated the importance of the interaction between alveolar epithelial cells and immune cells in Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection. During her doctorate, she studied the participation of inflammasomes and other intracellular pathways (STING-IFN-I-Autophagy) in the control of Leishmania spp. Recently, she has been investigating the role of the inflammasome in in vivo models and in patients with COVID-19.
