Animal Scientist graduated from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), Master of Science from the Animal Science and Pastures Program at the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture, focused in poultry nutrition. Holds a Ph.D. in Animal Science from the Graduate Program in Animal Science at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho," focused in poultry nutrition and welfare. Participated in the CAPES - Science Without Borders scholarship program, completing a full exchange program in Canada, including a curricular internship in poultry farming.Worked as a research assistant in the poultry sector at McGill University in Canada and was a scholarship holder in the Institutional Academic Development Program focused on general practices of poultry production and management at UFRRJ. Also participated in the scientific initiation program at UFRRJ with research focused on monogastric nutrition, especially the use of phytogenics in the feeding of broilers. Served as a monitor for the applied nutrition discipline in the Department of Animal Nutrition and Pastures at the same Brazilian institution. Holds an MBA in Marketing.
