Fábio Mariz Gonçalves

I hold a degree (1986) and a doctorate (1999) from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo. I have taught at FAUUSP since 1989 and have been a full professor since 2023; I chaired the Graduation Committee between 2009 and 2014. I taught at Universidade São Judas Tadeu, at Centro Universitário das Faculdades Alcântara Machado, at Universidade Brás Cubas, Universidade Ibirapuera and coordinated the architecture course from Anhembi Morumbi University. Partner of Projeto Paulista de Arquitetura between 1989 and 2003. Has experience in the area of Architecture and Urbanism, with an emphasis on Planning and Building Projects, working mainly on the following topics: architectural design, urban design, urbanism, urban landscape, and landscaping. Between July 2014 and January 2017, I was Director of the Department of Urban Planning DEURB of the Municipal Secretariat of Urban Development SMDU of the City of São Paulo.
