Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), Master in Biotechnology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB) of the University of São Paulo (USP) and PhD in Immunology from the School of Medicine of USP (FMUSP). Specialized in Clinical Microbiology from the Brazilian Society of Microbiology (SBM) and professional training in Clinical Research from the Paulista Center for Clinical Investigation (Cepic).Areas of scientific activity: Microbiology, Immunology, Oncology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, with an emphasis on both Pathogen-Host Cell interactions and immunotherapies for tumors associated with microorganisms. Extensive experience in the area of #8203;#8203;vaccine development against emerging and pandemic pathogens, as well as combined therapies for the treatment of tumors.
