Full Professor at the Federal University of Campina Grande, Brazil. Received a BS degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Paraíba, Brazil, in 1988, an MSc degree from the same University in 1989, and a PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, in 1995. His research interests are focused in distributed systems, with emphasis in on-demand computing and resources management.
